Uma’s Experience and Qualifications

• Uma has practiced law in Australia and in the UK, both as a Barrister and Solicitor since her admission to the Bar in the United Kingdom in 1991.
• Uma has more than 15 years of specialised experience in Family Law and De Facto Law, having devoted her career exclusively to this area of the law in 1999.
• Roll of Counsel signee in 1995.
• Uma is among a select few Victorian legal practitioners (just 6%) who can genuinely claim to be Accredited Specialists.
• Uma is also a Collaborative Law expert, having successfully completed the Law Institute of Victoria’s Collaborative Law Practice Course.
